Okuma Sensei (6th dan) leads a focused and intense class, with particular attention placed on the basics, or kihon.  Located at a beautiful Buddhist temple, Tozenji Dojo has beautiful wood floors (with mats available) and a full wall mirror.

Hashimoto Sensei (7th dan) began training in the late 70’s, and began teaching in Vancouver in 1982. Bringing over thirty five years of experience to the dojo, he is largely responsible for the development of Shorinji Kempo in Vancouver today. He teaches class at Trout Lake Community Centre.

Louie Sensei (5th dan) teaches at the Vancouver Branch at Trout Lake Community Centre, and is responsible for the Vancouver children's class.  He began his Shorinji Kempo training under Hashimoto Sensei as a child.

Ron Sensei (5th dan) is the instructor at the Vancouver Pacific Branch, which is conveniently located in the Olympic Village.  He does a great job in keeping the classes entertaining and informative. Geared towards beginners, but all levels are welcome.

All our instructors teach on a volunteer basis and do not receive monetary compensation.  We are a non-profit organization.
